Developing Business Applications
During this 8 week project, I developed a graphical application with a database backend, using Python and SQL. The goal was to create an interface which kept track of inventory, sales, expenses, and profit for a cookie shop, and stored data after the program had been terminated. The result was a fully functional interface.
Business & Marketing Research- Undergraduate Capstone
This 16-week, team-based project analyzed a regional telecommunications supplier. The team performed a market characterization of the hydraulic/mechanical repair market to include trends, technology, competition, customers and opportunity size.  An evaluation of how the company performed against competitors was performed, and a new value proposition was discovered. Finally, a set of recommendations and 5-year action plan (with financials) was presented in a 50 page report, along with a 20 minute presentation given to the CEO and upper management. The company later made a substantial donation to RIT.
Internet Marketing Strategies and Tactics with Google Analytics and Google Ads
This two part project was performed within Google Analytics and Google Ads, and used a variety of software including Excel and Tableau. First, I designed a unique webpage and strong landing page where traffic would be driven to. Individual campaigns were created and promoted throughout social networks to gain engagement. Next, through the strategic use of Google Ads, I created multiple Ad Campaigns. A/B experiments were performed for several days, and finally the data was collected for thorough analysis. ROI calculations were individually preformed, and the results were compiled into a comprehensive report.
Project Management
This project was taken on voluntarily, outside of my academic requirements, and lasted around 22 months. Working with the Al Sigl Community of Agencies and the NYS Office of Mental Health, I was responsible for creating a process to modernize a system in which outdated and historical medical records and documents would be safely archived. I worked closely with the Assistant Clinical Director, and spent a great deal of time raising awareness within the organization. I aided in the creation and distribution of two statewide conferences, and developed fundraising for the project as well.
Marketing & Communications
Marketing & Communications is a large passion of mine. In 2016 as part of the nation-wide Young Entrepreneurs Academy, I founded and developed my own marketing, advertising, and public relations company (registered DBA). My goal was to assist small, regional businesses in accomplishing their marketing and communication needs. I worked on many different commission based projects over the years, including working for a local high school to replace their current marketing strategy with an updated version, and working with an independent software developer to expand his target market and ultimately increase sales.
Personal Podcast
One of my biggest personal achievements, is the ownership of my podcast. I began my podcast back in 2020, and since then, have gained a listening base of over 2 million listeners, in over 134 countries. During the last year alone, I developed a blog, website, email list, a paid subscription based platform, a masterclass, and and successful social media page (Instagram) with a highly engaged community. With this podcast, it has allowed me to not only fall in love with marketing and branding, but to understand it from a holistic standpoint. On a regular basis, I analyze my own data and stats, create engaging content for social media, engage with my listeners and followers, and keep up with the current market trends.
